My comment posted in the TED video:

The initial cause of homeless is one: the animalist way that humanity distributed the land of this planet among humans. It mimics the exactly way the land is distributed in the jungle among animals. The big predators are the owners of big territories. I was born homeless and family less and after 67 years of experience I am going to die as homeless. But I had worked since my 10 old, through 40 years or more, I built many houses and producing at least my 40 tons of food for a human life, so, what's wrong? After my tens I never slept in the street and bought my food and poor  things, in that way that you work a whole day for getting the money for to pay a room to sleep and buy dinner. The employers all time said I was a good hard working, but this is the problem: if you do the worst job very well, you will be kept doing it, because the employer think will not find a good substitute. I tried craze to reach the university, once time I got it but not could finishe, I created my own business three times, but, everything goes down because there is no solid rock. Definitively, there are no opportunities to homeless, only slavery. So, at the end of this life I conclude that it would be different if I had my little land, enough for surviving with my own hands. Every country should calculate the space of land necessary and enough for one to survivor, would to control the population by the number of births in the way that everybody would have guaranteed its land at birth. We are humans, the conquestors and the responsible for this planet, I am a human (slavery or not), so I am the owner too. Land can not be transferred, sale or bought, it is sacred. Well, I am saying what would be for a transcendent species, evolved, exorcized from the instincts of predators in the jungle. I learned that this is not the human character. It is evident that Becky was not happy with the style of living as an employee slave of the machine, but she had no other alternative, she has no her land.
