MR. MEIR COHEN CO-FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL
Born and raised in Israel, where he served for seven years in the military and attained the rank of captain, Mr. Cohen emigrated to the United States in 1984. Settling in New York City, he quickly took interest in the city’s complex and richly varied neighborhood real estate markets. Within months of his arrival, Meir started a business to acquire and operate
commercial property. From the outset, Meir displayed a keen ability both

to anticipate local market trends and envision new and more profitable uses for existing buildings – skills that would prove invaluable in New York’s dynamic and ever-changing real estate scene. In 1989 he teamed up with Mr. Korman to form the partnership that became C&K Properties.

Mr. Korman, also a native of Israel, began his career there, earning an engineering degree from the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa and working as a civil engineer. He came to the United States in 1985, and two years later acquired a master’s degree in business administration from New York University. While studying for his graduate degree, Ben also put his practical experience to work, managing the construction of three residential projects on Staten Island. From the start of his partnership with Mr. Cohen, Ben has overseen the day-to-day operations of the company and its property portfolio, improving operating efficiencies and working with the acquisition team to evaluate potential acquisitions.
MR. BEN KORMAN CO-FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL
Mr. Collins, a member of the C&K team since 2000, has more than two decades of experience in corporate and real estate finance. After graduating from Fordham University with a degree in business management, Kevin began his career as an internal auditor for Cross & Brown Real Estate Co. He then served successively as staff accountant for M.J. Raynes, a prominent New York residential real estate firm, and senior accountant and accounting manager for Property Re

sources Group, a large developer and property management firm. In 1994, Kevin joined The Broadstone Group as assistant controller, and 14 months later was promoted to controller, with responsibility for all financial reporting, budget approvals, funding of capital projects and other vital fiscal functions. He held that post until joining C&K Properties. In addition to overseeing accounting and financial functions, Kevin’s responsibilities include supervision of office management, human resources and information systems.
