Edison Properties is a privately owned real estate holding and development firm based in Newark, New Jersey founded in 1956.[1][2][3] The company has holdings in New JerseyNew York City, and Baltimore including many parking lots marketed under ParkFast and storage units marketed under Manhattan Mini Storage. The company is affiliated with the family-run Gottesman Real Estate Partners.[4][5]

Mr. Andy Gottesman is the Chief Executive Officer of Gottesman Real Estate Partners. He oversees and adds to the family’s commercial property holdings, and Edison Investment Advisors, LLC, the family’s investment arm. At GRP, Mr. Gottesman is primarily responsible for setting strategic direction and overseeing the acquisition and management process. He is also responsible for leasing and building operations at 1120 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan. The 750,000-square-foot property, also known as The Hippodrome Building, includes nearly 600,000 square feet of premier office space, one of midtown’s best-known parking garages, high-end retail space, and Executive Workspace suites catering to small-space users. Mr. Gottesman played a central role in the building’s 2004 to 2005 repositioning to a Class A office building from Class B; the project included a complete upgrade of both aesthetics and systems, as well as significant re-tenanting. He also has been instrumental in the recent upgrade of 333 Meadowland Parkway in Secaucus, N.J. The 138,000-square-foot property includes office, retail, and warehouse space. The project, acquired in 2005, is owned in partnership with Bergman Real Estate Group. Mr. Gottesman previously worked from 1992 to 2000 as a reporter and editor at the Chicago Tribune. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and a member of the executive committee of the Avenue of the Americas Association. He is a trustee of the Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit. He earned a bachelor’s degree with distinction at the University of Michigan in 1992 and an M.B.A. with high honors at the University of Chicago in 2000. Mr. Gottesman is a 1988 graduate of The Pingry School in Martinsville, N.J. He is a resident of Summit, New Jersey.
