Louis Charles Morelli I think the focus here must be only on the patients: scientists that believes or don't knows as much you know. Are the patients experiences real or illusory? For some rational conclusion here we need waiting that our brain develops better sensors, penetrating the other dimensions of reality, like animals have antennas, etc. ( Maybe there are 11 dimensions as suggested by String Theory). My personal investigation at Matrix/DNA Theory is suggesting that we are composed like hardware and software, evolution is the result of feedback between them and the software is not destroyed when changing its hardwares, like the Windows pass on several generations of hardwares. The results suggests that life here was produced by photons-light waves as a software coming from a universal Matrix/DNA that was the DNA from galaxies and atoms, etc. And still I have made a design how is the face, the structure of this "cosmological" software. If it really exists, it could explains the patients experiences, suggesting they are real experiences. But I can not perform tests yet, so, by while, what we have is merely theories. But, the Matrix/DNA makes a rational logical sense, takes out the idea of supernatural, and offers possibilities for scientific tests...
